SiteWarden is a browser extension that blocks distracting websites when a user-defined "focus" URL is open in another tab. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data SiteWarden accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored.
SiteWarden does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
The extension does not communicate with any external server. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, and no account system. All processing happens entirely within your browser.
SiteWarden stores the following data in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local):
This data never leaves your device. It is not sent to any server, third party, or remote service.
SiteWarden does not share any data with third parties. There are no partnerships, advertising networks, or data brokers involved.
You can export your settings (focus URLs and blocked sites) as a JSON file using the Export feature. This file is saved to your local device and is never uploaded anywhere by the extension.
Uninstalling SiteWarden removes all locally stored data. You can also clear data at any time by removing items from the popup interface or resetting the blocked count.
If this policy is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top will be changed. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, please open an issue on the extension's support page or contact the developer through Ko-fi.
